2003 ASTON MARTIN AR1
Features
Description
2003 Aston Martin DB7 Zagato AR1 – 1 of 99 Global Units
Own a piece of automotive art. The Aston Martin AR1 is a strictly limited-edition roadster designed in collaboration with the legendary Italian design house Zagato. Based on the DB7 GT architecture, the AR1 features a completely bespoke body with the signature Zagato "double bubble" rear styling. Showing just 818 original miles, this Racing Green example is a blue-chip investment for the world's most discerning collectors.
Hand-Built V12 Power
Engine: 6.0L Naturally Aspirated 48-Valve V12
Output: 435 HP and 410 lb-ft of torque (Upgraded over the standard DB7 Vantage).
Transmission: 6-Speed Manual Gearbox — a rare and highly desirable feature that provides a pure, analog connection to the V12 engine.
Performance: Capable of 0-60 MPH in 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 186 MPH.
Zagato Design & Exclusivity
The Roadster Philosophy: Unlike the DB7 Zagato Coupe, the AR1 was designed as a "true" roadster with no folding roof. It was intended for sunshine driving in climates like California and Florida, though it was delivered with a simple rain cover for emergency use.
Bespoke Bodywork: Every panel is unique to the Zagato collaboration, featuring a massive front grille, unique round taillights, and the iconic speedster-style rear decklid.
Collector Status: With only 99 units produced (and this being a low-chassis #038), the AR1 is one of the rarest Aston Martins of the modern era.
Why This AR1 Zagato?
This is a museum-grade "wrapper" car. With only 818 miles on the odometer, it has been preserved in a climate-controlled environment as a static work of art. The combination of Aston Martin Racing Green over Magnolia is widely considered the most traditional and desirable color scheme for a British thoroughbred.
